The Turkish Basketball Disciplinary Comittee met today because of the incidents which happened after the 2nd game of TBL finals between Anadolu Efes and Karsiyaka. The comittee punished with a two games suspension Anadolu Efes‘ point guard Thomas Heurtel because he cursed at the referees. That means Heurtel won’t play in Izmir in Game 3 and 4.
Moreover the commitee punished with a 45 days deprivation of sports rights Anadolu Efes‘ general director Engin Ozerhun for the same reason. Anadolu Efes‘ players Nenad Krstic, Dario Saric and Stratos Perperoglou were fined 10.000 Turkish liras and Heurtel got 15.000 Turkish liras fine too.
