Efes could had won the game before the extra five minutes, having the ball with 24 seconds to go in regulations and a two points advantage, but Stratos Perperoglou attacked the basket, he missed and Karsiyaka took the 82-81 lead after a three by Kenny Gabriel.

Stephan Lasme got to the free throws line, he made 1/2 shots (82-82) and on the other side he blocked Bobby Dixon leading the way to overtime. The series now returns at Efes home in Istanbul, but the team is still missing Nenad Krstic. Ηοwever banned Thomas Heurtel returns to action, while Karsiyaka has a 3-1 lead in the TBL finals and needs just one more in order to win the championship title.

What Dusan Ivkovic had to say about that in the press conference? “Listen to me all! We will win the next three games and Efes will get the championship title”.
