The Greek league started with a delay of one week, the 1st gameday will be completed on Monday and on Sunday champion Olympiacos opened its season with a win against PAOK (89-64). The good news for the team of Piraeus is that 4.000 fans attended the game, a record number for the past three seasons in a home Greek league game for Olympiacos with any other opponent except, of course, Panathinaikos.
