The 7th gameday in Turkey almost ended with an upset, but Besiktas managed to beat Hacettepe 69-63 thanks to a big game by Damir Markota (photo) who had a double double with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Still the defending champions Besiktas are just sixth in the standings with a 4-3 record, behind Galatasaray (7-0), Anadolu Efes, Banvit, Fenerbahce/ Ulker (6-1) and Karsiyaka (5-2).
