The Italians beat the foreigners 107-92 in the Italian Beko All Star Game on Sunday, but the marriage proposal of Dominic James during the slam dunk contest and the three point shoot out win of 41years old Carlton Myers made headlines

Many leagues all around Europe are trying to mimic the NBA glamor of an All Star Game without a real success, but on Sunday the event in Italy had at least two big highlights. The Italians beat the foreigners of the league 107-92 as Alessandro Gentile and Nicolo Melli of EA7 Milano scored 18 points each for the winners. Alssandro’s brother, Stefano of Caserta was the game’s MVP.

However, the game will be remembered mostly about two other snapshots. During the slam dunk contest Dominic James of Reggiana proposed to his fiancee.

And also 41years old former idol of Fortitudo Bologna Carlton Myers who has retired, won the three point shoot out.
