The Slovenians needed three overtimes but in the end beat Buducnost on Monday. Still the suspension of Partizan’s coach Vujosevic because of his “physical attack on the referee Alfred Jovovic” made headlines

In a thrilling Monday night Cedevita beat Siroki (90-69) and Union Olimpija needed three overtimes in order to prevail over Buducnost (95-92) with Jaka Blazic being once again the top scorer of his team with 19 points and Cedomir Vitkovac producing a monster game for the losing side with 33 points and 10 rebounds. Cedevita is tied with Crvena Zvezda on the third place of the standings with a 8-5 record, Olimpija and Buducnost are a step behind with 7-6, however what also made headlines was the suspension at least for two games of Partizan’s coach Dule Vujosevic (photo) due to “unsportsmanlike behavior, cursing and a physical attack on the referee Alfred Jovovic” after his team’s defeat by Szolnoki on Sunday.
