This Christmas were full of basketball in Germany and in total 17 games were played since the 18th of December until the 27th of the same month. Brose Baskets and Alba Berlin had the time to cover some ground in delayed games from the 3rd gameday – in the Euroleague break before the Top16 – and the defending champions are still on top of the standings with a 12-2 record having played one game less. Oldenburg with a 11-5 record is second, Alba is third (10-4) and Ulm fourth (10-5). It has to be noted that Bayern Munich (photo) is producing impressive basketball as it was evident in its 123-97 road win over Phoenix Hagen and in the 104-71 home triumph over Bremerhaven and now has a 9-6 record.
