Panathinaikos got the road win in Berlin (79-73) against Alba despite missing its leader, injured Dimitris Diamantidis. It was the night of Jonas Maciulis (photo) who scored 28 points on 6/8 three pointers in just 22 minutes of action. For the home team Nihad Dedovic had 21 points and as he said after the end of the game: “We fought with the right energy and saw that we can compete even with a big team like Panathinaikos. But it is really tough against opponents like this. If you leave them alone for one minute, then you are down by 10″. The Greens were leading the score for the majority of the game, Alba cut it to five points in the last minute (76-71), but the hosts couldn’t steal the win.
