After five straight losses to Khimki in the VTB United League, Unics got finally the win and now is tied with the Moscow Region club in the group A standings, but Krasnye Krylia and Spartak Saint Petersburg have the advantage having played one game less

Sunday in VTB league ended with Krasnye Krylia (10-3) and Spartak (10-3) sharing the top of the standings in group A after Unics Kazan (10-4) beat Khimki (10-4) 76-70 with Kostas Kaimakoglou (photo) scoring 21 points. It was the first win of Unics over Khimki after five straight losses in the VTB United League games between them.
