Someone could argue that Barcelona got the “Copa Del Rey” on Thursday, after beating Real Madrid in the quarterfinal. However, the Catalans had also to win two more games and they did, with Valencia being their last victim in the final (85-69) with Pete Mickael getting the ΜVP award.

In Italy, Siena got tested by league leader Varese, but finally won the final (77-74) with Daniel Hacket being the ΜVP. It’s an important title for the defending champions, since they are building a new team and a trophy is the best way to get them even more motivated.

In Greece, the final got interrupted, but when it finally the game resumed, Panathinaikos prevailed 81-78 over Olympiacos with Roko Leni Ukic winning the ΜVP award. Αfter the game, the Reds filed an objection because of the game conditions and the players refused to take their silver medals.
