The rise of the Catalans in their domestic league continues, as they are tied in the third place with Valencia, Bilbao and Gran Canaria after the 21st gameday, behind only leader Real Madrid and second placed Caja Laboral

Real Madrid (20-1) and Caja Laboral (17-4) – despite losing on the road to Blusens Monbus – are still leading the standings in Liga Endesa, but the big news from the 21st gameday is that Barcelona even with a modest 13-8 record climbed to the third place, tied with Valencia, Bilbao and Gran Canaria. The Catalans beat by a bucket Fuenlabrada (72-70) with Ante Tomic (photo) scoring 18 points.
