Once more Brose Baskets lost a game in the last minutes, but this time they have no excuse as their opponent was also from Germany. Alba Berlin has now two Top16 wins, while the defending champions of Germany are still at zero

One more close Εuroleague Top16 game ended with Brose Baskets losing, but this time at home by Alba Berlin. The final score was 75-72 and was sealed by two free throws of Heiko Schaffartzik (photo), his only points in the game. That was the biggest chance of Brose Baskets to get its first Top16 win, but failed as its players couldn’t score in the last two minutes. The front court duo of Deon Thompson (15 p.) and Ali Traore (14 p.) were the top scorers for the winners who now have a 2-10 record.
