The standings in the top three spots didn’t change in Liga Endesa after the 28th gameday, but Real Madrid lost to Valencia, while Barcelona needed an overtime over Blusens Monbus Obradoiro and Caja Laboral prevailed over Valladolid

With the Euroleague play offs starting in three days, Real Madrid didn’t have the level of concentration needed to win on the road Valencia. Tomas Kelati had 21 points and was the top scorer for the winners (88-79). Barcelona needed an overtime but beat Blusens Monbus Obradoiro (86-81) despite playing without Juan Carlos Navarro, Sarunas Jasikevicius and of course Pete Mickael. Caja Laboral got also the win over Valladolid (84-80) and remained second in the standings (21-7), with Real still being first (25-3), Barca third (19-9) and Bilbao tied with Valencia in the fourth place (17-11).
