Asik and the Rockets stayed alive

Being on the verge of elimination always helps a team show its character and that happened in Houston. The Rockets beat OKC, they are still in grave danger (3-1), but they have a reason to smile with Omer Asik finishing the game 17 points and 14 rebounds, against 8 points, 5 rebounds and 3 blocks by Serge Ibaka and 5 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists by Thabo Sefolosha. Atlanta tied the series against the Pacers (2-2) with Johan Petro staying 22 minutes on the court (4 p., 8 r., 3 as.) against Ian Mahimni (3 p., 4 r.). Also the Nets stayed alive and cut the lead of Chicago (3-2) with the Euro-Bulls having a relatively modest night, as Deng (12 p., 8 r., 3 as.), Noah (11 p., 4 r.) and Belinelli (8 p., 3 r.) couldn’t give an extra push
