Every series in the quarterfinals of VTB League is at this point at 2-0 with Eurocup winner Lokomotiv Kuban having two wins on the road against Unics. However the talk of the day in Russia was the report that Atlanta Hawks are interested in hiring CSKA‘s coach Ettore Messina. As it was expected, the report was denied by CSKA‘s press officer Nikolai Tsynkevich: “We are used to rumors. I can only say that coach Messina signed a three years contract last July”.
