Brose Baskets couldn’t make the extra step in the Euroleague this year and lost the German cup. However the end of the season was the usual. The team from Bamberg – or “Freak city” if you prefer – got the BBL title with a 3-0 sweep over EWE Baskets Oldenburg and will compete next season in Euroleague after winning the championship for the fourth year in a row.
