The biggest sports rivarly in Spain will have one more chapter in the Supercopa final. Defending champion Real Madrid will face Barcelona, as they both got the wins in the semifinals against Bilbao and Laboral Kutxa respectively.
The first game of the night proved to be an easy affair for Real Madrid. The final score (100-61) is clear enough, as Real had a 53-35 lead after the first half, thanks to a big second quarter with a partial score 28-11 in its favor. Nikola Mirotic and Jaycee Carroll scored 18 points each.
The scenario was almost identical in the second semifinal. Barcelona got the win by 25 points (98-73), the game was decided in the second quarter with the Catalans having a 54-38 halftime lead and Laboral Kutxa, the hosts of the Supercopa, couldn’t get back into the game. Slovenian forward Bostjan Nachbar with 22 points was the leading scorer of the winners.
