Just in the second gameday of BBL, Bayern Munich proved itself as a possible title contender by beating defending champions Brose Baskets. Also, Alba Berlin started its season with road defeat by a point

Bayern Munich is by default a title contender in Germany and that was proven in the second gameday of BEKO BBL by its home win against Brose Baskets (84-74). Chevon Troutman and Nihad Djedovic scored 14 points each for the winners, while Casey Jacobsen did his best for the champs with 17 points. Also in its first game of the season Alba Berlin lost to Artlant Dragons by a point (67-66). The rest of the results for the 2nd gameday were the following: Braunschweig-Trier 67-58, Phoenix Hagen-Bayreuth 92-86, Rasta Vechta-Ludwigsburg 64-74, Ulm-Bremerhaven 87-47, Mitteldeutscher-S.Oliver Baskets 86-82, Skyliners-EWE Baskets Oldenburg 63-72, Tubingen-Bonn 76-77.

In the league standings Bayern, Artland, Braunschweig, Ludwigsburg and Phoenix Hagen are still perfect with a 2-0 record.
