The first gameday in Spanish Liga Endesa concluded on Tuesday night with Real Madrid hosting and beating Valladolid. Rudy Fernandez with 13 points was the top scorer for the winners, but the game had a special importance for Greek forward Panagiotis Vasilopoulos (photo). The former player of Olympiacos returned to action with Valladolid for the first time since February 2012 and essentially after two years of absence due to his knee injuries. Also, Valladolid’s American guard Luther Head missed the game for personal reasons.
