That’s how Khimki, one of the favorites of the competition, got its first European win this season in Bulgaria against Lukoil (95-79) behind 27 points by Marko Popovic and Bilbao prevailed in Sassari after overtime (100-94). However the pride of the hosts was saved by some big games and big wins, specially in Kazan, where Unics prevailed 72-71 against Banvit thanks to a buzzer beater by former Laker Andrew Goudelock (video).
