Banvit first, unlucky Galatasaray

The 5th gameday of Turkish TBL concluded with the road defeat of unlucky Galatasaray to Turk Telekom (70-64). However the big loss for the team of coach Ergin Ataman is that two more players after Jawai and Markoishvili are injured. Jamont Gordon and Erwin Dudley are hurt in their legs and the initial reports are speaking about Gordon missing the next month and Erwin Dudley missing the next three. Also Zeljko Obradovic’s Fenerbahce/Ulker lost its first game in the season to Tofas and the road and that left Banvit the only unbeaten team in the league with a 5-0 record, led by former Zoc’ s assistant Dimitris Itoudis. Fener, Karsiyaka and TED Ankara are tied in the second place with a 4-1 record.
