This time Real Madrid couldn’t score its usual 90 points on offense, however the 75-70 road win over Gran Canaria left the defending Spanish champions all alone on the top of Liga Endesa with a perfect 6-0 record. The losing team, Valencia and Barcelona (5-1) are tied in the second place of the standings, after the defeat of the Catalans in Bilbao (80-72), the first win of the Basques for the season in their domestic league. Also in the “Euroleague duel” between Laboral Kutxa and Unicaja Malaga in Vitoria, the hosts got the 82-75 win despite the absence of injured Andres Nocioni.
