The big match up of Belgrade concluded the 8th gameday of Adriatic league with Crvena Zvezda prevailing in overtime over Partizan (86-83). Boban Marjanovic scored 27 points and got 6 rebounds against the hosts who had to recover from the news of missing Leo Westermann until the end of the season. An other Frenchman, Joffrey Lauvergne send the game in overtime for Partizan (73-73), but “Red Star” jumped to a six point lead (83-77) and the outcome was decided. After this result Partizan, Crvena Zvezda and Cedevita are tied on the top of the league with a 6-2 record and we will have to wait the final verdict for the game between Buducnost (5-2) and Union Olimpija (1-6) in order to learn if there will be also a fourth team sharing the first place. The final shot of the game (video), made by Jaka Vladovic could be an iconic buzzer beater, but Buducnost filed a complaint, insisting that the shot was made after the final buzzer.
