The win of Banvit over Fenerbahce (91-76) was the most important result of the 7th gameday in Turkish TBL. Not only Banvit remains unbeaten on top of the standings (7-0) but also former Panathinaikos assistant Dimitris Itoudis beat his mentor and head coach of the Greens for 13 years, Zeljko Obradovic. Fener is now tied at 5-2 in the second place with Anadolu Efes, Usak, TED Ankara and Pinar Karsiyaka, Galatasaray follows with 4-3 and Eurocup participant Besiktas is just 12th with a 2-5 record, despite adding former NBAer Sundiata Gaines in its roster.
