Panathinaikos became the first team which beat Olympiacos this season. After a 23-0 streak, the Reds lost at OAKA in the semifinal of the Greek cup. The final score was low (67-57), the game was ugly, but the result is what ultimately counts and Panathinaikos found the way to prevail. For the hosts Pappas returned to action and Roko Ukic missed the game due repot to injury.

On the contrary in the first semifinal Aris prevailed over Panionios in a spectacular game (88-79) which was the last of coach Vangelis Aggelou on the bench of the winners before leaving for Anadolu Efes. The final will be played at the 9th of February 2014 in Creta.
