The new year in BBL started with a big win of Oldenburg over Bayern Munich (87-72). The losing team still leads the standings with a 14-2 record, however Brose Baskets is only one win away (13-3) after beating Fraport Skylines (74-43) and Alba Berlin is third (12-4) after catching up with the schedule during holidays. The forth place belongs to Bonn (11-5) after beating Mitteldeutscher on the road (69-66).
