On Sunday the All Star game of Turkish TBL was held with the domestic stars beating the foreigners 122-111 in Mersin. Former NBAer and Anadolu Efes‘ center Semih Erden was named MVP of the game (20 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assists) in a performance that his team would like to see also in official games. It was an event that can be considered historic, since the Greek coach of Banvit, Dimitris Itoudis, was sitting on the bench of the foreign stars and given the trouble history between the two countries, his present was one more evidence that things in recent years are changing for the best.
