Sunday was the day of the hosts in VTB United league, however the win of Khimki over CSKA overshadowed the triumph of Astana. CSKA was leading for most of the game, had the last possession, but James Augustine stole the ball and made a buzzer beater three pointer which decided the outcome. After this result Khimki is still unbeaten in Group B with a 13-0 record, while CSKA is still second but with a 11-2 record.
