It was a tough weekend in BBL for Bayern Munich and Brose Baskets, but the top contenders and the defending champions got two close road wins and are still leading the standings in the German top league after 18 games.
The top spot belongs to Bayern, which needed overtime in order to beat Mitteldeutscher (97-90) and get a 16-2 record. Brose Baskets’ win was even closer, just by a point (69-68) over Bayreuth as the champs have the second place with a 15-3 record.
