One week after its first loss of the season, Real Madrid bounced back with a stressful win. The Spaniards beat Maccabi Tel Aviv (74-68) which traveled undefeated to Madrid, but couldn’t keep up with the team of coach Laso.

There is a three way tie on top of Group F, as CSKA Moscow with Kyle Hines returning to action beat Bayern in Munich (61-86). The players of coach Messina had the experience and the quality needed for Euroleague’s Top16 and that’ why now they are tied at 4-1 with Maccabi and Real Madrid at the top of the standings. At this point according to Euroleague’s tie breaker rules Real has the advantage, despite losing last week in Moscow.

In SEF, the defending champions got what they wanted over Unicaja (73-55) and have a 3-2 record. Olympiacos is tied at the moment in the second spot of Group E with EA7 Milano which got a key win over Fenerbahce/ Ulker (90-85). The team of coach Obradovic has its back against the wall with just a 1-4 record and every game from now on will be a fight for survival.
