The first day of the Italian cup final eight ended with a bang. Dinamo Sassari beat the host EA7 Milano (82-80) after a really close game and the main favorite for the trophy is out. Drake Diener with 24 points was the man of the match (video). In Saturday’s semifinal Sassari will face Reggio Emilia which prevailed over Cantu (84-77) as former Knick James White scored 25 points for the winners.
In the other semifinal game Siena after edging Roma (76-67) will face Brindisi which got the 83-70 win over Venezia with Michael Snaer scoring 27 points.
