A great game, a thrilling finish, a big shot, a deserving MVP and a packed gym. Everything clicked in “Copa Del Rey” with Real Madrid getting the 77-76 win thanks to Sergio Llull after a great assist by Sergi Rodriguez (video).
It was a very close and relatively low scoring game, as Barcelona would love to, and thanks to a goal foul by Brad Oleson the Catalans were up by one (76-75) with 8.8 seconds left. But then “El Chacho” passed the ball to Llull and he killed Barcelona with one tenth of a second left on the clock.
Nicola Mirotic who finished the game with 17 points and 11 rebounds got the title of the MVP, as Real Madrid got the second domestic title of the season after Supercopa and now has two goals left, Euroleague and defending the Spanish championship title.
