A record streak and a big night

With just one game left in Last32, the second phase of Eurocup is half decided.  In total eight teams have already booked their tickets to the eightfinals with Khimki being the only unbeaten and riding a record 14-0 streak in the history of the competition. Also TED Ankara, Alba Berlin, Hapoel Jerusalem, Crvena Zvezda, Nizhny Novgorod, Unics Kazan and Valencia have qualified. But the night belonged to Vladimir Golubovic (photo) who led Ankara with a 51 ranking, the fourth best in the history of Eurocup, as he scored 28 points and grabbed 17 rebounds in the 104-75 win over Sassari. Eight more tickets to the eightfinals will be decided next week.
