CSKA’s Russian cup failure overshadowed the games of VTB league. Khimki is still unbeaten with a 15-0 record from last Sunday and leads Group B standings, Unics Kazan with 13-1 is on top of Group A and CSKA was exposed in quarterfinals of Russian cup

CSKA‘s Russian cup failure overshadowed the games of VTB league. Khimki is still unbeaten with a 15-0 record from last Sunday and leads Group B standings, Unics Kazan with 13-1 is on top of Group A and CSKA was exposed in quarterfinals of Russian cup by losing to “Red October” as newcomer Von Wafer led his team to the road win at Moscow (84-73) by scoring 38 points. CSKA was eliminated from the cup and “Red October” will play in the semifinals.
