In a full gym at Belgrade – and that translates to 22.736 fans – Crvena Zvezda got the big 63-52 win over Unics Kazan in the first of the two Eurocup semifinals between the two teams. Now the Russians have to beat the Serbs by 12 points in order to get the ticket to the final.

Jaka Blazic with 15 points and Rasko Katic with 14 were the top scorers of the winners, who got a 10 points advantage at the start of the last quarter and defended it until the end. To be exact the partial score in the last 10 minutes was 13-4 as Unics scored only a three pointer by Andrew Goudelock and one free throw by Chuck Eidson. Goudelock with 18 points was the only double digits scorer of the guests.
