One of the traditionally strongest home courts in Europe is the gym of Maccabi Tel Aviv and it was proven once more.  The Israelis dominated the game in the second and the third quarter, got the 75-63 win over EA7 Milano and also a 2-1 lead in their play offs series.

David Blu (16 p.), Ricky Hickman (15 p., 6 as) and Alex Tyus (14 p., 8 r.) were the leaders for the winners. The Italians didn’t seem prepared for the tension of the game, they shot just 16% in their three points attempts (4/25) and their main perimeter offensive options were cold. Daniel Hackett scorer 14 points on 5/16 shots, Keith Langford had 12 on 4/12 shots and Curtis Jerrells 11 on 2/11 shots.

After the game coach Blatt said: “It feels great to be back home. The crowd was wonderful. We came out very well because we knew we had to. I hope we can make another step up because our opponent is very difficult”. The coach of Milan, Luca Banchi, hopes for a better next game from his team: “We knew in advance how difficult it would be for us to come here and try to control the game. We have some ideas, we have a few hours to reset and come back and try and have a better game Wednesday night”.
