After winning the ticket to Euroleague’s Final Four on Friday, Real Madrid was defeated at home for the first time this season by Eurocup finalist Valencia in a game for the 29th gameday of Liga Endesa. The final score was 110-105 for the guests. Real Madrid was unbeaten in its domestic league and remains on top with a 27-1 record, while Valencia is second with 26-3. It has to be noted that this is the fourth game of Madrid in seven days, one of the heaviest schedule ever in European basketball.
The other Spanish club which will compete in Euroleague’s Final Four, Barcelona, is still third at the standings with a 21-7 after beating Fuenlabrada (81-63). Both Real and Barca have on game less because of the Euroleague play offs schedule.
