In a game for Liga Endesa the two opponents of the “Spanish” Final Four semifinal crossed their swords and Barcelona prevailed over Real Madrid in a very convincing game, as the final 86-75 indicates.

Thanks to Alex Abrines and Kostas Papanikolaou Barca got an easy win against Madrid which was playing without Felipe Reyes and Dontaye Draper whose presence in the Final Four is still doubtful. The hosts got a 25 points lead (70-45) in the 28th minute as Abrines had 20 points and “Pap” already a double double (11 p., 10 r.). The Greek forward finished the game with 18 points and 12 rebounds in his best night in Spain. The two young players got an important boost in their confidence before the big game in Milan.

On the other hand, Juan Carlos Navarro had just 3 points in 9 minutes of action, while Nikola Mirotic with 19 points was the top scorer in a very bad night for Madrid. Rudy Fernandez left the game with just four points after being disqualified with two technical fouls. In six days the two teams will meet again for a place in the Euroleague final while in Liga Endesa Real has locked the top spot (30-2) and Barcelona the third place (25-7).
