Unics Kazan became the third team which qualified with a sweep to VTB league’s semifinals and only one series, the one between CSKA Moscow and Lokomotiv Kuban, is still undecided, as the unit of coach Ettore Messina survived on the road.
CSKA got the 76-73 win, as Krunoslav Simon missed the last shot of the game. On the contrary Unics prevailed 93-77 in Samara against Krasnye Krylia and with 3-0 wins got the ticket to the next round.
