In the decisive Game 5 of VTB’s quarterfinals CSKA Moscow destroyed almost by 20 points (84-65) Lokomotiv Kuban and got the ticket to the semifinals with 3-2 wins. After the failure in Euroleague’s Final Four, CSKA reacted with three straight wins.
Once more Nenad Krstic with 18 points was the top scorer of the winners, while Valery Lihodey also scored 18 points for the losing side, which had a 2-0 lead in the series but blew it.
