It was a fight until the end, but the “red shoes” in the end got the win in the first semifinal of Legabasket against Sassari. The trio of Gentile (23 p.), Samuels (23 p.) and Langford (20 p.) led EA7 Milano in the 95-84 win and the 1-0.
The game was tied at 75 after 32 minutes of action, but the hosts with a 12-4 (87-79) run in the next four minutes got the lead they needed in order to get control of the game. Drake Diener with 19 points and Caleb Green with 17 were the top scorers of Sassari.
