Antoine Diot missed the chance to send the game to overtime with a three pointer and for the first time since 2000, Limoges is once again French league champions. It’s the 10th championship title for the only French club which has won the Euroleague (in 1993).

The final score was 73-70 against Strasbourg and Alex Acker was the MVP of the series, which started with two road wins of Limoges and ended with a 3-0 sweep. Taurean Green with 19 points was the top scorer of Game 3, while Australian forward/center David Andersen had one more double double (13 p., 10 r.) for Strasbourg which was the French league finalist for the second year in a row.

Of course this title signals also the return of Limoges to next season’s Euroleague.
