For the first time in the history of the club, Cedevita got the Croatian league title against Cibona with a 3-0 sweep in the finals which concluded on Tuesday night. The score in the last game was 87-76 as Goran Suton led all scorers with 23 points.
Still this series was also a battle between two top European draft prospects, Dario Saric of Cibona and Jusuf Nurkic of Cedevita. Saric had 18 points and 14 rebounds in the last game of the series, while Nurkic was one of the three players who were ejected during the game (his teammate Miro Bilan and his opponent Marin Rozic were the other two). However, both players have been constantly evaluated by many NBA scouts and that series doesn’t change much on their draft status.
