Liga Endesa started with a big upset, as Valencia lost on the road to Murcia (85-76), while the other contenders got what the wanted. Both Real Madrid over Gran Canaria and of course Barcelona against Laboral Kutxa got the easy wins. The fourth representative of Spain in Euroleague, Unicaja prevailed with a 83-69 final score over Andorra. Big road win also for Joventut at Zaragoza
