In what was a thrilling final, Fenerbahce/ Ulker suffered the first upset of the season by losing to Karsiyaka (77-75) the President Cup, or the Turkish Supercup if you prefer. Bobby Dixon scored 19 points for Karsiyaka and with 1/2 free throws and five seconds left created the final score, while Bogdan Bogdanovic missed the three pointer which could have won the game for Fener.
Jan Palacio also had 19 points for the winners. Andrew Goudelock with 18 points was the top scorer of Fenerbahce/ Ulker and the man who cut the lead of Karsiyaka to one (76-75) with seven seconds left on the clock.
