In what proved to be a great fight, Unics Kazan had the chance to win the game, getting a 75-74 advantage with 7.7 left after a three by James White. Still Llull was the man who said the last word and saved the Spaniards from defeat (76-75). Despite a good 31-20 start early in the second quarter by Real, the hosts reacted and what followed was a close game until the end. Gustavo Ayon and Rudy Fernandez scored 10 points of Real ,being the top scorers of their team, while Keith Langford had 23 points in total, 21 of them made in the second half.

In Kaunas, Zalgiris thanks to a 25-7 partial score in the second quarter, ended the game against Niznhy Novgorod prematurely, getting in the end the 97-63 win. Τhe team effort of the Lithuanians was impressive with six players scoring in double digits and everyone helping in defense, keeping Niznhy in 38% in two pointers and 23% in threes.
