After the end of the first round only two teams are left unbeaten in Eurocup. In the “Western” conference Gran Canaria in Group B and in the “Eastern” conference Lokomotiv Kuban in Group F have a perfect 5-0 score.
The only team without a win yet is Zielona Gora in Group F, however even the Polish club have – at least mathematical – chances to get to the second phase. Two games, the road wins of Bonn at Reggio Emilia (85-84) and Nymburk’s at Seville (66-65) were decided by a point and also Lietuvos Rytas’ win in Israel against Hapoel Jerusalem turned some heads, since the hosts have in theory one of the best rosters in the competition and two weeks ago on the same court they beat Maccabi Tel Aviv.
