Limoges tried its best, but in the end CSKA Moscow got the road win, while Alba Berlin blocked Cedevita and got a key result in the race for Top16. The Russians played with fire, but exploded in the last quarter.

To be exact, Limoges was leading for 35 minutes even by 12 points, but after a tremendous 25-2 run during the first nine minutes of the fourth period, the “army team” was up by 11 (84-73) and the game was over (86-76). Milos Teodosic had one more good game (16 p., 12 as.) and Pavel Korobkov was impressive with 12 points on 6/6 shots and 3 rebounds in just 11 minutes of action. The Russians missed just two shots in the last quarter (9/9 2p., 3/5 3p.) and Limoges made just two (1/6 2p., 1/8 3p.).

In a key game for the Top16 qualification, Alba Berlin (photo) got the advantage by beating Cedevita in Zagreb (80-67). Jamel McLean led the way with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals, while Reggie Redding was also impressive (10 p., 7 r., 8 as.). The key was defense, as Alba (2-3) got the easy win despite shooting just 6/16 free throws by keeping Cedevita (1-4) at home to 21/56 shots, a bad 37% efficiency.
