Neptunas Klaipeda got a key win over Laboral Kutxa and can make Top16 dreams thanks to a 3-3 record, while CSKA Moscow stayed unbeaten after prevailing with ease over Alba Berlin in a very one sided game.

In Lithuania, Neptunas had a 18 points lead (53-35) in the third period, but thanks to an amazing night by Thomas Heurtel (31 p., 8/10 threes) the guests came back in the game and got a 75-73 lead with 101 seconds to go. Still Heurtel missed four shots in the last minute and Simas Galdikas made the most importand basket of the game which led to the 80-79 win of his team. The Spaniards have the tie breaker advantage, because of their 88-69 first round win, so they have their chances. Mustafa Shakur (photo) with 16 points was the top scorer of the winners.

CSKA Moscow played without Milos Teodosic, but the quality of its roster made his absence a footnote. The Russians were up with a double score in half time (48-24) and never let Alba get close to them on the way to an easy 95-66 win. Nando De Colo (22 p.) and Aaron Jackson (18 p.) stepped up in Milos’ absence and both had a great game. Alba couldn’t have a better luck considering the fact that they had 0/8 three pointers in the first half and 2/16 in total.
