Barcelona “killed” Bayern in Munich

By Eurohoops team/ info@eurohoops.net

It’s fair to say that Bayern is unlucky due to injuries, however in the game that may have been the last stand of the Germans for the Top16, Barcelona didn’t face any opposition in Munich on the way to a 99-77 triumph.

Thanks to an impressive team effort and after scoring 38 points in the second period, the guests cruised and left Bayern with an 1-5 record. In theory Bayern can still get to the second round of the competition, but the Germans have to start winning and they have only one home game left, the one against Turow. The last second addition of Bo McCalebb (4p., 2/8 s.) didn’t change much against a solid team which is well oiled machine. Barcelona had five double digits scorers and everyone who stepped on the court did something positive.
